Pilates Teaching Course

It’s important to gather as much information about all the options for Pilates Instructor teaching courses.

Tensegrity Training offers two full Pilates Instructor qualifications that are government accredited and upon completion of either qualification graduates are eligible for membership to either of Australia’s professional Pilates associations:

Pilates Alliance Australasia (PAA) and The Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA).

Find out more about professional associations.

We also offer a range of short courses for those looking to add a specialisation to their existing qualifications or to try an introductory course in Pilates.

Some important information about our Pilates Instructor teaching qualifications are below:

  1. Certificate IV (52728WA) Course is run over 6 months and involves 5 weekend modules plus a Certification exam.  Students have a further 6 months to complete clinical practice hours.
  2. Diploma (10596NAT) Course is run over 5 months and involves 5 weekend Modules and a Certification exam.  Students have a further 10 months to complete clinical practice hours.
  3. Integrated Diploma Course is the combination of the Certificate IV and the Diploma together and it is run over 11 months and involves 10 weekend Modules and a Certification exam.  Students have a further 10 months to complete clinical practice hours.

All students begin the training together as the Cert IV is a pre-requisite for the Diploma training. The Certificate IV is the first 5 weekends of the entire 10 weekends.
